The functionality of the top case has been improved thanks to a simplified opening and closing system. The comb hinges with a final stop eliminate the need for securing cords, allowing for smoother and safer closure. A slight pressure on the lid allows for a slow closure, increasing usability. Additionally, the greater adherence between the shells of the top case contributes to enhanced security against break-ins.

To ensure a comfortable and practical journey, the V58 MAXIA 5 TECH is equipped with a foam backrest, available separately, and an elastic strap that keeps the contents stable during transport. The soft mat applied to the bottom prevents shifting and friction of items inside the top case. It is suitable for the KTM 1050 Adventure produced between 2015 and 2016, the KTM 1090 Adventure from 2017 to 2019, the KTM 1190 Adventure and Adventure R from 2013 to 2016, and the KTM 1290 Super Adventure in T, R, and S variants, respectively from 2015 to 2016 and from 2017 to 2020.
