A distinctive element of the V49 AIR is the patented Wingflow system, which includes four silver-painted wings positioned on the sides of the top case. This system has been developed through extensive studies conducted by GIVI's Research and Development department in a wind tunnel, aimed at improving the product's aerodynamics. Thanks to these innovations, the top case is able to reduce vibrations and noise during riding, contributing to greater stability and comfort for the motorcyclist.

The MONOKEY fastening system represents an additional advantage of the V49 AIR, allowing for quick and secure installation and removal from the motorcycle. The GIVI SRA5113 rear rack is a mount specifically designed for the installation of MONOKEY top cases. This product has been developed to provide a robust and durable solution for transporting loads on motorcycles, while maintaining a design that harmoniously integrates with the lines of compatible bikes.

The compatibility of the GIVI rack extends to various models of BMW motorcycles, particularly the BMW R 1200 RT produced between 2014 and 2018, the BMW R 1250 RT from 2019 to 2020, and the BMW R 1250 RT from 2021 to 2024. This versatility allows motorcyclists to use the same rack on multiple models, facilitating access to a wider range of transport options.

It is important to note that the rack has a maximum load of 6 kg, which limits the weight of the loads that can be transported. Additionally, the design of the rack does not allow for the installation of a stop light kit on the case, nor a remote opening device for the case.
