A distinctive element of the V49 AIR is the patented Wingflow system, which includes four silver-painted wings positioned on the sides of the top case. This system has been developed through extensive studies conducted by GIVI's Research and Development department in a wind tunnel, aimed at improving the product's aerodynamics. Thanks to these innovations, the top case is able to reduce vibrations and noise during riding, contributing to greater stability and comfort for the motorcyclist.

The MONOKEY fastening system represents an additional advantage of the V49 AIR, allowing for quick and secure installation and removal from the motorcycle. The GIVI SRA5112 rear rack is a mount specifically designed for the installation of MONOKEY line top cases. This product offers a robust and durable solution for transporting luggage on motorcycles, ensuring adequate stability and resistance during use.

The compatibility of the rack is limited to specific motorcycle models, particularly the BMW R 1200 GS Adventure produced between 2014 and 2018 and the BMW R 1250 GS Adventure from 2019 to 2024. This specificity ensures that the rack integrates perfectly with the structure of these bikes, maintaining the original design and functionality features.

It is important to note that the rack has a recommended maximum load of 6 kg. This limitation must be adhered to in order to ensure the safety and integrity of the support system. Furthermore, the design of the rack does not allow for the mounting of a stop light kit on the case nor a remote opening device for the case. These restrictions should be considered when planning the use of the rack, as they may affect transportation needs and desired functionalities.
