A distinctive element of the V49 AIR is the patented Wingflow system, which includes four silver-painted wings positioned on the sides of the top case. This system has been developed through extensive studies conducted by GIVI's Research and Development department in a wind tunnel, aimed at improving the product's aerodynamics. Thanks to these innovations, the top case is able to reduce vibrations and noise during riding, contributing to greater stability and comfort for the motorcyclist.

The MONOKEY fastening system represents an additional advantage of the V49 AIR, allowing for quick and secure installation and removal from the motorcycle. The GIVI SR683 rear rack is a mount specifically designed for the installation of MONOKEY line top cases. This accessory has been developed to ensure a safe and functional transport solution for motorcycles, allowing for an increase in the vehicle's load capacity.

The compatibility of the GIVI rack extends to specific motorcycle models, particularly the BMW R 1150 R produced from 2001 to 2006 and the BMW R 850 R produced from 2003 to 2007. It is important to note that for the BMW R 850 R, the rack is not compatible with the R850R Comfort version.

Regarding installation, the rack comes with a MONOKEY plate and must be mounted exclusively in conjunction with the motorcycle's original side mounts. This specification is crucial to ensure the stability and safety of the load. The maximum allowable load for the rack is 6 kg, a limitation that must be adhered to in order to avoid damage to both the rack and the motorcycle itself.
