The functionality of the top case has been improved thanks to a simplified opening and closing system. The comb hinges with a final stop eliminate the need for securing cords, allowing for smoother and safer closure. A slight pressure on the lid allows for a slow closure, increasing usability. Additionally, the greater adherence between the shells of the top case contributes to enhanced security against break-ins.

To ensure a comfortable and practical journey, the V58 MAXIA 5 TECH is equipped with a foam backrest, available separately, and an elastic strap that keeps the contents stable during transport. The soft mat applied to the bottom prevents shifting and friction of items inside the top case. The GIVI SR3117 rear rack is a mount specifically designed for the installation of MONOKEY or MONOLOCK top cases. This product is compatible with a selection of models from the motorcycle manufacturer Suzuki, particularly with the V-Strom 1050, V-Strom 1050 XT, and V-Strom 1050 SE versions, all produced between 2020 and 2024, as well as with the 2023 V-Strom 1050 DE model.

To ensure a correct and safe installation, it is necessary to pair the rack with one of the specific plates: the MONOKEY plates M5, M7, M8A, M8B, M9A, or M9B, or with the MONOLOCK plates M5M or M6M. It is important to note that pairing with the plates M8A, M8B, M9A, and M9B comes with limitations, specifically, it does not allow for the installation of a stop light kit on the case and/or a remote opening device for the case.
