It is important to note that specific flanges, referred to as BF, must be used for mounting the bag on the tank, which must be purchased separately. The GIVI BF47 tank ring is a component specifically designed for the installation of tank bags from the TANKLOCK and TanklockED lines. This accessory allows for secure and convenient mounting of the bags, ensuring easy removal and installation. The flange is made to fit perfectly to the shape of the motorcycle tank, providing stability and protection during use.

The compatibility of the BF47 flange is limited to BMW R 1200 RT models produced between 2005 and 2013, with a specific focus on the years from 2008 to 2013. It is important to note that the use of the flange is exclusive to these models and years, therefore it is not advisable to use it on different motorcycles or on models outside of this time frame.
