ATHENA P400195600894 Engine Gasket Kit

The ATHENA engine gasket kit is designed to ensure optimal performance in engines with 3-5/16 cylinders, specifically for Knucklehead E and EL 61 (1000cc) and 74 (1200cc) models from 1936 to 1947. This complete kit includes all the gaskets, o-rings, and seals necessary for an accurate overhaul of the engine's thermal part, except for the engine oil seals.

The head gaskets are made from M0115, an innovative material developed by Athena, which combines a central steel layer with aramid fibers and NBR rubber, offering resistance to mechanical and thermal stresses. This material is ideal for applications that require sealing under high stress conditions, such as cylinder head gaskets and intake and exhaust manifolds.

The cylinder base gaskets, on the other hand, are made from MotorGasket M0109, a blend of mineral and aramid fibers, also asbestos-free, which ensures good sealing capabilities with gases and fluids, making it suitable for moderate pressures.
