JMP Ignition System Tester

- Measuring range: 0-40,000 volts

Suitable for checking the ignition voltage and its performance.

The performance can be measured by adjusting the installed screw.

Application:

- Disconnect the plug and plug it into the ignition tester.

If necessary, the adapter can be unscrewed and unscrewed.

- Attach the crocodile clamp to the ground

- Set the screw to approx. 10mm (an intact ignition system should skip the spark gap of approx. 15mm)

- Make sure that the ignition tester can not get near the ground.

- The engine can be started

Important:

- In the case of multi-cylinder engines, the remaining plug plugs must be grounded (otherwise damage the ignition parts)

- If spark plugs should be removed, please note that an explosive mixture could escape through the spark plug openings.

- Adjustment of the spark gap via the screw may only be carried out with the ignition switched off

- When the ignition is switched on, neither the ignition system nor the spark detector can be touched
