Suitable for Lambretta series I-III/DL/GP models. As with all internal combustion motors, the cooling of a vintage Lambretta motor is essentially linked to its performance and reliability. Regrettably, especially on air-cooled motors, this often becomes a major problem to be overcome. Tuned motors suffer the most from excess temperatures as the increased performance also creates more heat to be dissipated. CASA PERFORMANCE have approached this issue in an unusual way : Improved internal aerodynamics created by specifically developed and formed cowling components. A method that increases the amount of cooling air that passes over the motor, without requiring more energy to be sapped from the crankshaft for the fanwheel operation. This all-new cowling system has been titled the 'Casa Cooler' and consists of a three-piece Mag-housing and the cover to match. The components are all CNC machined in Italy and ensure, due to a special CAD development process, an improved flow of cooling air through the motor. This is not the only advantage this system provides for the vintage Lambretta motors to which it is attached. The bearing is only provided with an oil seal on one side and its lubrication is then supplied by the oil in the fuel mixture. This ensures a permanent and reliable supply of lubrication and helps reduce the resistance placed on the crankshaft. The functional effectiveness of this cooling kit has been extensively successfully tested by the CASA PERFORMANCE Racing team on countless laps of many race circuits during its pre-production development.
