The special features of the new Battlax Sport Touring T31 are the improved performance in wet conditions and the maximum contact with the road. This allows the driver to feel safer in any weather, while enjoying the fun and thrill of the ride.

Bridgestone's front tire uses advanced NanoPro-Tech ™ technology, which provides increased levels of silica at the molecular level in the rubber compound. This not only improves the flexibility of the rubber, it also increases the adhesion on a wide variety of surfaces, as well as in wet and low temperatures.

At the rear, a 3LC rubber compound with a cap and base structure comes into play: the softer outer rubber compound gives outstanding grip, the inner compound is more stable and gives the tire optimum rigidity.

The tread pattern of the T31 has a higher number of tread grooves in the shoulder area, which makes it easier to drain off water. In the middle region of the rear tire are found only a few grooves. This guarantees stability, especially at high speeds. The contact area is also up to 7 percent larger, which provides especially when cornering a plus in safety.
